Valley is aware of the nationwide supply disruption of IV fluid solution due to Hurricane Helene, and wants to reassure the community that steps have been taken to ensure the situation will have no negative impact on our patients and the community.
Introducing Friends of VHA
If you are interested in joining The Valley Hospital Auxiliary and giving back to your hospital without any strings attached, then Friends of VHA is for you.
Friends represents general membership in the Auxiliary with no particular town branch affiliation. It will offer members of the community a way to support and participate in the VHA without belonging to a particular branch. Today, many people are busy with careers and raising families, making attending monthly meetings difficult. Joining Friends of VHA is a way for members to remain informed of the various activities and important works of VHA.
Anyone in the community is welcome to join by paying the $20 annual dues; there are no specific requirements other than to participate, as desired, in Auxiliary-sponsored events, very few meetings, or volunteering at Valley. Membership can be obtained by signing up now on the registration link. While members of Friends do not belong to a specific town Branch, they are welcome, at any time, to join any branch if they so desire and participate in Central Board events.
