The 51st Annual VHA Golf Outing: What a Day!
On June 3, 2024, 145 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day at the VHA’s 51st Annual Golf Outing at the Ridgewood Country Club. From Duck Donuts at check-in to a BBQ lunch and sumptuous dinner, replete with oysters, clams and shrimp, everyone had a fabulous time.
The day included prizes for a putting contest, closest to the hole at different tees, longest drive, at different tees, pink ball winners, and 5th place to 1st place winners. There was a 50/50 and silent auction prizes such as a clay shoot event at Hudson Farms, tickets to Yankees, Mets and Devils games and more.
All proceeds from the golf outing supported the Auxiliary’s $3.1 million pledge to establish the pediatric pod of The Valley Hospital's Emergency Department and an endowment for Valley Home Care’s Butterflies—an in-home, pediatric palliative and hospice care program for seriously ill children.
