2024 Tree of Light Ceremony and Tribute Book
We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the Tree of Light ceremony held on December 8. It was a joyous occasion, marking our first in-person illumination at the new Valley Hospital. The Auxiliary extends heartfelt thanks to our esteemed speakers, Charles Vannoy, Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, The Valley Hospital; Donna Mainardi Singer, President, The Valley Hospital Auxiliary; and Dave Bohan, VP and Chief Philanthropy Officer, TVH Foundation, whose inspiring words uplifted all attendees. We were also delighted by the Ridgewood High School Choir and Orchestra, who filled the air with beautiful holiday music, enhancing the spirit of the event.
The collective effort of everyone who purchased stars or lights in honor or memory of a loved one has made a significant impact. Your contributions support the Auxiliary’s impressive $3.1 million pledge to The Valley Hospital in Paramus and the Butterflies endowment. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $20,000 to improve the health and well-being of children in our community.
A special round of applause goes to Mary Seminara and her dedicated Tree of Light committee for their hard work in making this event possible and ensuring that all donors were acknowledged. We also appreciate the Auxiliary members, Valley volunteers, and various Valley departments for their generous donations of goodies and services, which further enriched the ceremony. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
