Party at the Pier, the 76th annual Valley Ball, was held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, a stunning venue on the sparkling Hudson River. There were even unexpected fireworks — a highlight of the evening.
All 260 attendees were delighted to honor Valley Health System CEO Emeritus, Audrey Meyers, for her outstanding service to Valley. Her career at Valley has spanned over four decades, with 25 years as President and CEO. Audrey’s vision and leadership guided the construction and opening of our new, state-of-the-art hospital in April 2024. She is now leading the transformation of Valley’s Ridgewood campus into a robust ambulatory care facility.
A black-tie event, the Valley Ball included a lavish cocktail reception followed by a delicious three-course dinner. The Remember Jones band, nationally known for its over-the-top theatrical events and funk rock/soul showmanship, blew everyone away with their amazing energy and great sense of fun. It was a night to remember!
All proceeds supported the Auxiliary’s $3.1 million pledge to support the Pediatric Section of the Emergency Department at The Valley Hospital and an endowment for Valley Home Care’s Butterflies program.
