Valley Health System’s retail pharmacies, located in Paramus and Mahwah, can meet all of your prescription needs. All pharmacies are open to the public, including patients and Valley employees, and are backed by the considerable resources of Valley’s Pharmacy Department.
Prescriptions can be delivered to the pharmacy, faxed or phoned in (see numbers below), or transmitted electronically by your doctor’s office.
Our pharmacies also stock many specialty medications, including those used to treat and/or control cancer, diabetes, cardiac conditions, anticoagulation concerns and infertility. If a medication needs to be ordered, it can usually be secured within one business day.

Located on the second floor of The Valley Hospital, our retail pharmacy makes it possible for hospitalized patients to have their prescriptions conveniently filled before leaving the hospital. Patients can pick up their prescriptions as they are leaving or have the prescriptions delivered to their bedside before their discharge. With medications in hand before they leave the hospital, patients can begin following their medication regimen sooner, which can aid in their recovery and may even reduce the risk of a hospital readmission.
In addition to filling prescriptions, the pharmacy offers a selection of durable medical equipment, including canes and crutches.
