Valley’s ophthalmology practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey is home to the VMG Optical Shop, an on-site optical shop, for our patients and the general public. In addition, we have an on-site optometrist available, by appointment, to conduct eye exams and contact lens fittings.
Our board-licensed opticians have more than 30 years of experience in helping patients in northern New Jersey find the perfect pair of glasses and prescription eyewear that suits their needs and personal style. No appointment is necessary for retail services.

What to Expect
- When purchasing glasses from Valley's Optical Shop, you can expect a quick turnaround time of about five business days.
- We accept outside prescriptions for patients who wish to purchase their glasses or contacts with Valley.
- Insurance is not accepted, however we do accept check, credit card, or HSA/FSA.
