What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is the name for various eye diseases that can lead to vision loss and even blindness, due to the damage that is caused to the optic nerve.
Glaucoma cases in New Jersey are close to epidemic proportions, totaling 4,500,000 diagnosed and an estimated 60 million people worldwide – making it the second-leading cause of blindness, according to the World Health Organization.
