Support and Assistance
Social workers are here daily to support you. Our financial team can help you to apply for the NJ Hospital Care Payment Assistance Program, charity care, Medicaid, Medicare, and other financial assistance.
Location and Hours
The Family Care Center is located at 223 N. Van Dien Ave. in Ridgewood (where The Valley Hospital was located). The center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
How to Make an Appointment
To make an appointment, call 201-689-3900 and select option 1. (Walk-in care is not available at this time.) If you have cold or flu symptoms, we will provide a mask for you to wear during your visit.
Patient Portal
All patients have access to a patient portal to view your medical history, review summaries of your appointments, send secure messages to your providers, review prescriptions, and more. (Information will be provided during your first visit.)
Our Resident Physicians
Many of the physicians who will care for you are residents, doctors who have already graduated from medical school and are completing their training here through Valley Health System’s Graduate Medical Education program. This program is sponsored by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Our residents share Dr. Wheaton’s focus on providing personalized care for patients and improving the health of the community.
