Guided imagery is a natural mind-body technique that combines music, imagery and simple relaxation techniques to ease stress and anxiety, enhance your well-being, and connect you to your feelings and emotions — all of which can promote the healing process.
Guided imagery:
- Involves visualization and using all your senses.
- Is used in combination with other forms of your medical treatment.
- May be used during surgery (please speak with your physician about this request)
