Celebrating Prematurity Awareness Month

November is Prematurity Awareness Month, and November 17 marked World Prematurity Day, a day to raise awareness of the global crisis of prematurity. Preterm birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally. To celebrate, Valley staff wore purple to raise awareness of this crisis and show their support.
