Developmental pediatrics is a medical subspecialty that focuses on the evaluation and treatment of children who are experiencing delays in achieving developmental milestones, behavioral concerns or difficulty in school. At the Kireker Center for Child Development, our developmental pediatricians work closely with each child’s parents, pediatrician, other physicians, therapists, and school/education professionals to provide a life-centered approach to caring for patients.
Families may access our developmental pediatric services through a referral from their pediatricians, from community healthcare providers, or by self-referral.
